with care.
Hard on the outside may still be
tender on the inside.

Often, what appears jagged …
What we are afraid of … Becomes nothing, with time … As mold on crust … As a strong rain washes pools of metal, ... Into rust … And falls away, Cast to the dust. Invest in what frees your soul … What carves solace into your heart’s bowl… Who gives Love, ever and lasting hold. © jan leree 2012 Edging into flow ...
There is something, Edging to express … But my words, ... They flounder and are amiss… I desire to be flow … To stretch and cast my arms, As if to form a bridge … There is so much life to live ... I have so much love to give ... I have so much light to shed... There is no more time to dump ice on someone's head... May I let criticism be uttered ... only from someone else's lips. ©jan leree 2012 I think everyone crosses our path, for a reason ...
for their impact on our lives. There is a pathway, In the synapses of my mind … There is a step in the viscera ... Of my life. There is a place on the surround of my porch That only you, Have brought an enlightening torch. © jan leree 2012 Your Voice Matters:
Your one voice. For someone, today ... Everyone else's voice, has been turned to mute. It is your voice ... That will hold them, to themselves to be true. ©2012 jan leree |
