No matter your nights of forlorn travail …
You have come through with colors of glory,
Down to the smallest, elaborate comforts of detail.

No matter the path that has befallen

Through pavement …
Or muck and mud … Walk with me … Through stair stepping or Rock bottom crud … ... Walk with me … Through mountain high or Valley, curving away down below … Walk with me … Through going it alone … Or on a crowded street … Be present, with me … Straight talk … Steady my feet … Surround my shoulders … In strength … Walk with me. © jan leree 2012 It is of complete comfort,
to my complacent space..., that God offers me security and freedom ... both to savor, ... in His exquisite, eternal, lavishing embrace. © jan leree 2012 A fierce Spring storm is brooding.
The winds whip my skin, Like edge of winter… It’s time to gather in … It’s time to hold, lift up … ... To circle my soul, into Center. © jan leree 2012 The rose.
She bowed her head in prayer … She was carried through the silence of night, In her tears… She was held through her cries, ... With a whisper… She was grounded to earth, by a thin weighted line of glory. Her head was lifted, on the breeze in the morning dew… To tell her story… © jan leree 2012 Hope is found,
in the walk with a friend. Tell me where you're going ... and I'll be able to open the story, as to where, ... across that bridge, I've been... (c) jan leree 2012 These trees had fabulous swank,
scolio and sway ... bold with glory, ripe with years of people who have leaned on them ... and shed their story… © jan leree 2012 The tulips’ season comes,
They bind, They unify … They glorify … They meld into grandmothers, ... Then droop, parting ways and cry, Their camel’s backs, they break and die … And my wheels of time, Go rolling on by. © jan leree 2012 The path is not marked
The path is so dark The path is set off to the side The path to your heart The path is narrow … ... Seems to hide The path hard to find, Please Lord, open wide. Show me a place… Where you want me to be Show me a trace… A trickle, A simplicity. © jan leree 2012 I was talking to one of my friends today and we were wondering why God doesn't talk to us easily; like two friends in conversation. Maybe I try to limit God, by wanting that. When He wants to give me His complete sensory experience, not just an audible one.
This indescribable sight, happened on my walk today. I almost missed it ... ... but then I heard the tulips say: The tulips, ripe with glory … They speak of heaven and earth … They tell our story. The story of all of our needs, Heart aches, our joys … How all that matters in between… will be redeemed. © jan leree 2012 |
